Lately, Parent Savers is my new favorite podcast. It usually has different set of guests discussing various topics related to new parents, infants, and toddlers. While books are teach you what is perfect, this podcast shows what is reality. It is a great relief when some of the experts say that they are not perfect. Also there is a lot of practical tips that books don’t really teach you. Like should you go to emergency room on sunday night?
This will be a really hard test. American Academy of Pediatrics recommends zero screen time for children under 2 years of age. Even all those “make your baby smart” videos are harmful for a developing brain of babies. Our baby at 3 months is already fascinated by TV or any screen emitting light. When I am working from home, it is really hard not to turn on TV and let him be mesmerized with changing images on it.
